Sawmill cleanup workers tackle watershed area

The Sawmill Creek Recovery Team will move its cleanup activities to another area of the Sawmill Creek Watershed Saturday morning.

Volunteers will work in the area adjacent to Eighth Avenue, near the intersection with Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard. Anyone interested in volunteering should dress for picking up trash in a wet and cold area.

Volunteers have removed debris from the tributary that runs behind the Glen Burnie Industrial Park. Up to 30 people have turned out for some of the cleanups.
