19-year-old woman robbed at ATM

A 19-year-old woman using an automated teller machine in the 500 block of Crain Highway in Glen Burnie was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money Saturday by a man she feared was armed, county police said yesterday.

Police said the man approached the Laurel woman from behind and told her he'd take the money she held in her hand. He then ordered her to withdraw more money from the ATM.

The woman did and gave him the money because she feared the man might be armed, police said.

Woman, man robbed and attacked in mall lot

Two men attacked a Pasadena woman and her boyfriend Saturday, stealing $70 from the man, choking the woman and taking her purse and car keys on the parking lot of Glen Burnie Mall, county police said yesterday.

The attack occurred at 8:45 p.m. when the men approached the 44-year-old woman and her boyfriend from behind.

The men fled toward Ordnance Road in the woman's 1984 Cadillac Seville, Maryland license ZNS 122.

L She was treated at Harbor Hospital Center for neck injuries.
