A Baltimore man and a Westminster woman were arrested on drug charges early Tuesday by police who said they recovered cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Corey M. Davis, 23, of the 400 block of Swann Ave. in Baltimore, was arrested about 1:20 a.m. by Westminster detectives, District Court documents said. Mr. Davis, known as "Pistol," was in the Carroll County Detention Center yesterday on $20,000 bond.

Police said that they approached Mr. Davis as he stood by his car at Ralph and Charles Streets, and that they found a plastic bag containing five large rocks and 10 small rocks of crack cocaine in his pocket.

Police said they also recovered a bag of marijuana on the ground near where Mr. Davis was standing when he was arrested.

He was charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia after the detectives found a plastic drinking straw containing suspected cocaine residue and some cigarette rolling paper.

Shavon M. Moals, 19, of the 100 block of S. Center St., who was sitting in Mr. Davis' car, was charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana.

She was released last week on an unsecured $25,000 bond.
