SHOOTING/ARRESTS: Central District -- Three women sustained shotgun pellet wounds while sitting on the front steps of an apartment building in the 2400 block of Lakeview Ave. Tuesday evening. Three teen-agers were arrested. Police said the shooting was the result of an argument. Treated at the University of Maryland Medical Center for wounds of the back, arms and face were Tammy Duboyce, 18, and Dorthea Duboyce, 36, both of the Lakeview Avenue address, and Shanel Anderson, 22, of the 200 block of Robert St. Arrested in a house in the 800 block of Brooks Lane, where police recovered a short-handled 12-gauge shotgun on a fire escape, were Gregory A. Cason, 18, of the Brooks Lane address, and two teen-aged girls, one 15 and the other 13. All three were charged with attempted murder and related firearms charges and were being held pending bail hearings or a hearing before juvenile authorities.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 4000 block of Roundtop Road was walking near her home Tuesday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $22.

STOLEN CAR: Northeastern District -- A 1988 Pontiac with Maryland tags SBL346 was stolen from the 1600 block of E. Cold Spring Lane Monday or Tuesday.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone stole tools valued at nearly $3,000 from a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro parked in the driveway of a home in the 3600 block of White Ave. Monday or Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the McDonald's fast-food outlet in the 2800 block of Greenmount Ave. of an undisclosed sum Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 2800 block of Guilford Ave. was in the 2900 block of Hunter St. Tuesday when two men robbed him of his watch after asking for the time.

CARJACKING: Northern District -- Police were seeking a woman who robbed a resident of the 2400 block of Kenoak Road of her maroon 1986 Mercury at the exhaust emission testing center in the 1000 block of Exeter Hall Ave. at gunpoint Tuesday after asking the victim for a quarter. The car, with Maryland tags ATT041, had not been found.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A Baltimore County resident was robbed of $10 Tuesday by a gunman in the 1800 block of W. Lanvale St. An hour later, the victim was near the police station when the man who robbed him fired a shot at him but missed. Later, police arrested Timothy Rogers, 25, of the 1800 block of Mullin St., and charged him with armed robbery and attempted murder. He was held pending a bail review hearing before a District Court judge.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 4900 block of Groveland Ave. through the front door Monday or Tuesday and stole property valued at $200.

Baltimore County

Towson District -- A gunman robbed the Hillendale Crown gas station in the 6800 block of Loch Raven Blvd. of an undisclosed sum Tuesday.

ROBBERIES: Woodlawn District -- Police were seeking a gunman who robbed the Days Inn in the 6700 block of Security Blvd. of an undisclosed sum Tuesday. Minutes later, a man robbed the Motel 6 in the 1600 block of Whitehead Road of an undisclosed sum after requesting a room. Police said the robberies may have been committed by the same man.
