* Sykesville: Engines from Sykesville, Winfield, Gamber and the Liberty Road station in Baltimore County responded for a chimney fire in a house on Crossway Court at 7:57 p.m. Thursday. Units were out for 30 minutes.

* Gamber: Engines from Gamber, Sykesville and Winfield

responded for a dryer fire in a house on Poole Road at 10:50 a.m. Friday. Units were out for 30 minutes.

Gamber, Reese and Westminster responded for a kitchen fire in a house on Rainbow Lane at 12:06 p.m. Friday. Units were out for 28 minutes.

Firefighters from the Gamber fire station were dispatched to investigate a report of smoke in a building on Niner Road at 10:24 p.m. Thursday. They were out for 20 minutes.

Firefighters from the Sykesville fire company were dispatched to a house on Harbor Drive at 5:52 p.m. Wednesday. They found the door of the house open, but no fire. They remained at the house for more than one hour while state police responded and checked the building.
