POLICE

* Westminster: A Bond Street resident reported to city police that someone stole her automobile, which had been parked near her home on Thursday. She estimated the car's value at $13,000.

An official of Bowen Auto Sales reported to police that someone destroyed an antenna on one of the cars at the lot on Wednesday. Damage was estimated at $100.

A Hanover, Pa., resident told police a welding torch was removed from the rear of his vehicle while it was parked at Cranberry Mall on Wednesday. The loss was estimated at $100.

A Johahn Drive resident reported that someone shattered the rear window of his car while it was parked at the 140 Village Shopping Center on Wednesday. Damage was estimated at $150.

A city employee told police someone defaced one of the buildings at Jaycees Park on Nov. 12. He estimated the damage at $100.

A Sykesville resident reported to authorities someone entered his vehicle and stole $90 from an envelope last Monday. The car was parked at Cranberry Mall.

FIRE

* Westminster: Engines from Westminster, Reese and Pleasant Valley responded for a kitchen fire in a house on West Main Street at 1:31 p.m. Friday. Units were out for 20 minutes.

Firefighters from the Westminster station responded for an auto leaking gasoline on Sullivan Ave. at 10:03 a.m. Wednesday. They were out for 20 minutes.

Engines from Westminster were dispatched for a woods fire on Uniontown Road at 11:28 a.m. Wednesday. They were out for 40 minutes.

Firefighters from Westminster responded for a tree fire on Windsor Drive at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. They were out for one hour.

* Pleasant Valley: Firefighters from the Pleasant Valley fire station responded for a clean-up detail at the scene of an auto accident on Route 97 at 4:40 a.m. Thursday. They were out for 30 minutes.
