Annetta leads Salisbury, 41-3

SALISBURY -- Quarterback Lee Annetta set school records with 437 passing yards and five touchdown passes as Salisbury State routed Guilford, 41-3, yesterday.

Annetta, who completed 28 of 42 passes with one interception, threw touchdown passes of 36, 5, 11, 2 and 13 yards. The senior finished his four-year career with a school record 5,817 passing yards.

Annetta made sure his entire receiving corps got into the act. In all, eight players had receptions, led by Fred Grant, who caught seven for 159 yards.

The Sea Gulls finished their season with a 2-7 record. The Quakers are 2-8.
