3 men charged with robbery in Westminster Victim forced to the ground

Three Westminster men have been arrested and charged with robbery after they allegedly forced another man to the ground and took his car Oct. 31.

Joseph Clark of the first block of Charles St. in Westminster told police that he was grabbed by two men in front of his residence about 2:30 a.m. and pushed to the ground.

Timothy Tyrone Costley, 30, of the first block of Charles St.; Bryant Edwin Millberry, 38, of the 1100 block of Western Chapel Road; and David Bowman, 32, of the 100 block of Carrollview Ave. were each charged with robbing Mr. Clark and two counts of theft.

5l Mr. Costley and Mr. Millberry were also charged with battery.

The victim told police that one of the suspects returned to his home about 14 hours after the incident to tell him where the car could be found.

Mr. Clark said that when he recovered the automobile, tools, clothing, tape cassettes and fishing equipment worth about $1,150 were missing.

The three men were arrested Thursday and released on $10,000 unsecured bond each, Westminster police said.
