Woman robbed during ride to airport

A Baltimore woman who accepted a ride to the airport Wednesday afternoon from a man she did not know was robbed of her purse in Ferndale, county police said.

Alice Faye Gray, 27, of the 1100 block of Leadenhall St., said she was riding to Baltimore-Washington Internation Airport in a blue Ford van driven by a man she did not know.

The woman told police the man stopped at the corner of Magnolia Avenue and Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard in Ferndale, pushed her from the van and kept her purse.
