One woman died and two men were injured Wednesday as the result of a two-car collision in the 2100 block of Liberty Road in Eldersburg.

Henrietta Violet Fallin, 76, of Sykesville, who was a passenger in a car driven by her husband, was pronounced dead at the Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.

Herbert Fallin, 75, was taken to the same hospital but was later transferred to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

He was listed in serious and stable condition yesterday, a hospital spokesman said.

The driver of a 1989 Nissan 300ZX, Tony Lafarrell Johnson, 28, of Baltimore, was taken to Sinai Hospital in Baltimore and released after treatment.

State police said Mr. Johnson was driving east on Liberty Road about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday when his car and the Fallins' 1990 Mercury Sable station wagon collided. The station wagon had pulled onto Liberty Road in the path of Mr. Johnson's car, police said.

The accident is under investigation, police said.

Medical units from Sykesville, Gamber and the Liberty Road station in Baltimore County responded to the accident, along with a rescue squad truck from the Sykesville station.
