BALTIMORE CITY* ROBBERY:

BALTIMORE CITY

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 2600 block of Boone St. of cash and property, all valued at $500, in the 3600 block of Park Heights Ave. Wednesday.

* BURGLARY: Southern District -- An unknown amount of coins were stolen from at least one soda vending machine at Keystone electric company in the 2800 block of Annapolis Road between Tuesday and Wednesday by someone who entered the building through a skylight.

* THEFT: Northern District -- A wheelchair valued at $700 was stolen from the porch of a house in the 900 block of Gorsuch Ave. between Tuesday and Wednesday.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the first block of E. 26th St. through a rear door Wednesday and stole a TV.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 3700 block of Keswick Road was in the 3200 block of Remington Ave. Wednesday when he was robbed of property valued at more than $50.

* ATTEMPTED MURDER: Western District -- A 27-year-old resident of the 5900 block of Robindale Road in Westview Park near Woodlawn in Baltimore County, was in the 500 block of N. Mount St. Wednesday night when he was nearly struck by a Chevrolet Chevette. The victim grabbed onto the car's door handle and was hanging on when the driver deliberately sideswiped a parked truck, knocking the victim to the pavement. The car continued on, heading west on Franklin Street. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was treated for a head injury and listed in stable condition.

* THEFT: Western District -- Police were seeking a couple who entered a house in the 2000 block of Pennsylvania Ave. between Tuesday and Wednesday and stole $1,400.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- An air furnace valued at $300 was stolen from Melvin's body shop in the 2000 block of Vine St. between Tuesday and Wednesday.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 1100 block of Harlem Ave. of $200 in the 600 block of N. Schroeder St. Wednesday.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of Spruce Court was walking in the 2300 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway Wednesday when he was attacked by four youths who robbed him of a small sum of money.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the first block of Calverton Road was in the 300 block of N. Fremont Ave. Wednesday when he was attacked by a man who struck him with a length of wood and robbed of him of $27.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A .22-caliber handgun valued at $200 was stolen from a house in the 3600 block of Frederick Ave. Wednesday by someone who entered after breaking a kitchen window.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property valued at $600 was stolen from a house in the 4500 block of Frederick Ave. Wednesday. Taken was stereo equipment, appliances and other household items.

* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 2200 block of N. Rosedale St. was walking near his home Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of $10.

* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 3000 block of Presstman St. of $17 Wednesday while the victim walked in the 3900 block of Presstman St.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* THEFT: Parkville District -- Police were seeking two men who entered a house under construction in the 9800 block of Hickoryhurst Drive Wednesday and stole a heat pump valued at $1,000. The men were seen driving away in a 1990 Chevrolet Cavalier.

* BURGLARY: Parkville District -- A safe containing an undisclosed sum of money was stolen from a house in the 8300 block of Morven Road between Tuesday and Wednesday by someone who entered through a bedroom window.

* BURGLARY: Parkville District -- A white man with gray hair, thin build, in his 50s and wearing a gray shirt, denim jacket and blue jeans was being sought after he entered a house in the 7600 block of Old Harford Road Wednesday night and assaulted the occupant. When the female occupant saw the intruder, he struck her in the face and knocked her to the floor. The woman armed herself with a baseball bat and struck the man, causing him to flee. No property was reported missing.
