November 11, 1993

A Baltimore man riding his bicycle on Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard in Brooklyn Park was killed Tuesday when he was hit (( by a dump truck, county police reported.

Ernest Sampson, 30, of the 300 block of Elizabeth Ave., rode in front of a 1988 Mack dump truck at 9:42 a.m., police said. The driver of the truck, Rickey Lee Sumner, 44, of the 4800 block of Red Hill Way, was pulling out of the Belle Grove Corporation Reclamation Center. He told police he did not see Mr. Sampson ride in front of him.
