Baltimore City

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a garage in the 2800 block of Maryland Ave. Monday or Tuesday and stole a leaf blower and 100 feet of extension cord, all valued at more than $200.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered the office of the Morning Star Baptist Childrens Center in the 1000 block of W. Fayette St. with a key Monday or Tuesday and stole a VCR and a typewriter, all valued at $600.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A set of wooden doors valued at $200 was stolen from a house in the 600 block of N. Gilmor St. Tuesday by someone who entered after breaking a pane of glass in a front door.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 500 block of Bloom St. was riding his bike in the 1400 block of N. Calhoun St. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, got out of a car and robbed him of more than $200.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who threw a container of lye in the face of a resident of the 1600 block of W. Fayette St. Tuesday. The victim was sitting in the living room when his roommate entered and said "hello" before going into the kitchen. Moments later, the roommate came out of the kitchen and threw the caustic substance in the victim's face. The suspect fled. The victim was treated at an area hospital.

SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the first block of N. Stricker St. was in the 1500 block of W. Fairmount Ave. Tuesday when a gunman shot him in the right leg and shoulder. The gunman escaped. The victim was taken by ambulance to the University of Maryland Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 6300 block of Wirt Ave. Tuesday and stole property valued at nearly $2,000.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman robbed the Payless shoe store in the 2700 block of W. Cold Spring Lane of an undisclosed sum of money Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District-- A gunman entered the Speed Wash laundry in the 4600 block of Garrison Blvd. Tuesday and ordered an employee to give up the contents of the cash register. The gunman escaped with more than $100.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 5400 block of Jonquil Ave. Tuesday and stole a VCR and other property, all valued at more than $500.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A telephone answering machine and jewelry were stolen from a house in the 3500 block of Hilton Road Tuesday.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Garrison District -- Someone entered House Market Research Inc. in the 1800 block of Reisterstown Road Nov. 5 and stole a leather jacket valued at $400. The incident was reported Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Garrison District -- Someone entered a house in the first block of Carlvon Road in Owings Mills Tuesday and destroyed several pieces of furniture. No property was reported missing.

STOLEN CAR: Garrison District -- A 1990 Oldsmobile with Maryland tags 572ANC was stolen Tuesday from the parking lot of the Milford Mill High School in the 3800 block of Washington Ave.
