Baltimore City

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a storage building owned by the city's Department of Recreation and Parks in the 2900 block of Hilldale Ave. Monday or Tuesday and stole property valued at $20.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 2300 block of Violet Ave. was in the 3600 block of Park Heights Ave. Tuesday when a man robbed her of cash and property, all valued at nearly $200.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 5300 block of Denmore Ave. of cash and property, all valued at nearly $200, in the 2800 block of W. Cold Spring Lane Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A 19-inch TV valued at $300 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3200 block of Hayward Ave.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A Baltimore County resident was in the 2300 block of N. Charles St. Tuesday when a gunman robbed him of $27.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 400 block of E. Lorraine Ave. was walking with another man in the 2700 block of St. Paul St. Tuesday when the other man struck him in the head with a bottle and robbed him of his coat and baseball cap.

SHOOTING: Northern District -- A resident of the 5100 block of Harford Road was listed in good condition at the University of Maryland Medical Center after being shot in the ankle Tuesday by a gunman during an argument over money in the 2600 block of Greenmount Ave.

ROBBERY TRY/ARREST: Western District -- A gunman demanded money from a resident of the 1900 block of W. North Ave. near the victim's home Tuesday and fled when the victim walked away. Later, Officer Philip Sexton arrested a suspect fitting the description of the gunman and charged him with attempted armed robbery and related weapon offenses. Held in lieu of $10,000 bond is Ronald Clark, 25, of the 1600 block of Vincent Court.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed the Bryant convenience store in the 2300 block of Bryant Ave. Tuesday of an undisclosed sum.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man Tuesday and charged him with stealing a woman's purse while she put fuel into her car at a service station in the 900 block of N. Monroe St. Police said Gregory Eugene Young, 33, of the 1000 block of N. Fulton Ave., was being held at the police station pending a bail hearing .

SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 1900 block of W. Lexington St. was in the 200 block of N. Monroe St. Tuesday when a man shot him in the right leg. The gunman escaped, and the victim was treated at Bon Secours Hospital.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: Parkville District -- Two men, one with a handgun, entered Friendly's restaurant in the 8300 block of Harford Road shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday and ordered at least one employee to give them money from a cash register. Several customers were in the restaurant at the time, but they were not robbed. The men escaped on foot.

THEFT TRY: White Marsh District -- Someone attempted to steal a 1981 Chevrolet Camaro from the 9100 block of Abigail Drive Monday or Tuesday by popping the ignition. The engine failed to start.

BURGLARY TRY: Towson District -- After breaking a bay window at Register Tires in the 1400 block of Register Ave. Tuesday, someone attempted to enter but fled when the burglar alarm went off.
