Baltimore City

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- More than $100 and three shirts were stolen from the basement of a house in the 6300 block of Fernpark Ave. Monday by someone who entered through a door.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered the F.W. Woolworth store in the 5600 block of The Alameda through the front window Monday and stole several computer games and game cartridges.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A stereo tuner and a tape deck, all valued at $400, were stolen from a house in the 3000 block of N. Calvert St. Monday by someone who entered through a second-floor window off the fire escape.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 6000 block of Chinquapin Parkway through a ground-level window and removed an air-conditioner and stole a VCR and a model 1911 .38-caliber revolver.

ROBBERY TRY: Western District -- A resident of the 1100 block of N. Fulton Ave. was in the 600 block of N. Gilmor St. Monday when he was attacked by a man who attempted to rob him. The victim resisted, and the other man fled.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 2600 block of Harlem Ave. of $5 in the 2600 block of Edmondson Ave. Monday.

SHOOTING: Western District -- A 16-year-old resident of the 1800 block of N. Dukeland St. was listed in critical but stable condition at Sinai Hospital after being shot in the stomach Monday while in the 2100 block of Walbrook Ave. The victim was standing with several other youths when someone fired a handgun near the group.

THEFT: Central District -- Thirty cassette tapes valued at more than $200 were stolen from a car parked in the 500 block of N. Charles St. Monday.

THEFT/ARREST: Central District -- Police arrested a man who attempted to leave the Rite-Aid pharmacy in the first block of W. North Ave. Monday without paying for two sports videotapes, a bottle of aspirin and a jar of petroleum jelly. Charged with theft was William Allen, 57, of the 3000 block of Southland Ave.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- Tools valued at $800 were stolen from a car parked in the 1400 block of Bloomfield Ave. Monday.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A man who implied he had a gun robbed a resident of the 500 block of Parksley Ave. of $21 as the victim walked near his home Monday.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Three men, one with a handgun, robbed a man in the 2600 block of Frederick Ave. of a coat valued at $100 Monday while the victim walked near his home.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the Wendy's restaurant in the 2300 block of Frederick Ave. of $100 Monday night.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3900 block of Wilkens Ave. through a side door Monday and stole jewelry valued at $300.

Baltimore County

STOLEN CAR/ARREST: Parkville District -- An 18-year-old resident of the 6000 block of Lanette Road was arrested Monday morning by Officer Frank Becker and charged with auto theft and related offenses. After a brief foot chase in the first block of Duntore Place after two youths jumped out of the car, Officer Becker captured the suspect. The second youth escaped. In addition to auto theft, Donte Sweeney is charged with theft and malicious destruction of property. He is being held at the White Marsh District station in lieu of $7,500 bail. The car, a 1993 Honda Accord valued at $13,000, was stolen from the 3300 block of Garnet Road between Sunday night and Monday morning.

BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Someone entered a house in the 7900 block of Rolling View Ave. through an open window or a door Sunday or Monday and stole a rifle and a shotgun, all valued at more than $300.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- Someone entered a model home in the 900 block of Walnutwood Road between Friday and Monday by breaking a pane of glass from the front door and stole a heat pump, furnace, kitchen range, microwave oven and a dishwasher, all valued at more than $2,400.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- An 18-speed mountain bike was stolen from a garage in the 11500 block of Pebble Creek Drive in Timonium Monday.
