Correction

November 10, 1993

An article in yesterday's editions on the Senate rejection of an amendment to the crime bill that would ban the execution of minors who committed capital crimes incorrectly reported that Maryland's senators voted to kill the amendment. Sens. Barbara A. Mikulski and Paul S. Sarbanes each voted "no" on a motion to table the amendment, which means they supported the amendment.

The Sun regrets the error.
