Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Central District -- A resident of the 1500 block of Bentley Circle in Bel Air was in the 800 block of Park Ave. Monday when two men robbed him of $52 and beat him about the face.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A desk clerk at the Shirley House in the 200 block of W. Madison St. was robbed of $55 Tuesday by a man who threatened to strike him with a piece of wood.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Police were seeking a woman who entered a house in the 500 block of N. Charles St. Monday and stole personal papers and a silver rosary.

THEFT: Central District -- Fabric samples valued at $200 were stolen from a car parked in the 800 block of Park Ave. Monday.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- An employee of the Western Auto store in the 2800 block of Greenmount Ave. was about to open the store Monday when a gunman forced him inside and took an undisclosed sum from a cash register.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 3100 block of N. Charles St. Monday and stole $100, two rolls of quarters and jewelry, all valued at $1,260.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men robbed a resident of the 3000 block of Abell Ave. of a wallet and $1 in the 300 block of E. 31st St. Monday.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 1100 block of Ramblewood Road was robbed of $17 while he walked near his home Monday by a man who implied he had a handgun.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a car parked in the 1500 block of Kensett St. Sunday or Monday and stole two pairs of handcuffs.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of N. Calhoun St. was in the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Ave. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $15.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed the Schmidt baking company in the 2800 block of Edmondson Ave. of more than $100 Monday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman was in the 2300 block of Edmondson Ave. Monday when he robbed a resident of the 2300 block of W. Lanvale St. of $25 and a resident of the 2500 block of Edmondson Ave. of $5.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: Cockeysville District -- Two gunmen entered the Super Fresh store in the 10200 block of York Road at opening time Monday and ordered an employee into the office. There, the gunmen stole cash, postage stamps and checks. The gunmen then robbed several other employees of their property before forcing all of them into a walk-in freezer. The men told the employees not to come out until they counted to 1,000. The gunmen were seen driving away in a gray Toyota Corolla.
