* Elkridge: 6600 block of Route 1: A front door of a mobile home was kicked open between 5:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, and an undisclosed amount of pennies were stolen.

6600 block of Santa Barbara Road: A 1987 Chevrolet van was stolen between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

6800 block of Athol Avenue: An intruder entered a residence between 8:30 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. Thursday, possibly through an unlocked front door. The interior was ransacked; nothing was taken.

6600 block of Route 1: Someone broke a rear window at a business between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday, and tampered with a cash drawer.

* Ellicott City: 8900 block of Town and Country Boulevard: Someone broke a passenger-side window on a 1990 Chevrolet van between 8:30 p.m. Monday and 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, and stole several items including a $65 Hewlett Packard calculator, a $125 Hewlett Packard calculator, and a pair of $59 men's boots, size 10.
