BALTIMORE CITY

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1700 block of Chilton St. Tuesday and stole a .380-caliber semiautomatic handgun and other property, all valued at $1,000.

* THEFT/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police arrested a man who attempted to leave the Stop, Shop and Save store in the 1500 block of Havenwood Road Tuesday without paying for six jars of coffee.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Three men, one with a handgun, robbed the Dolfield Convenience store in the 3600 block of Dolfield Ave. of more than $100 Tuesday.

* THEFTS/ARRESTS: Northwestern District -- In separate incidents Tuesday, police arrested two men who attempted to leave the Giant market in the 5900 block of Reisterstown Road without paying for items valued at nearly $40. The suspects were being held at the station pending charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered Turner's cut-rate liquors in the 3000 block of Greenmount Ave. through a rear door Tuesday but was scared off by the owner who was awakened by the noise of a metal grate being removed from a window. No property was missing.

* CUTTING: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who cut a resident of the 2300 block of Winchester St. on the back with a sharp weapon during an incident Tuesday in the 1700 block of N. Bentalou St.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 800 block of W. Lexington St. of cash and property, all valued at $400, in the 1800 block of Edmondson Ave. Tuesday.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1000 block of N. Calhoun St. through a rear door Tuesday and stole a microwave oven valued at nearly $200.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- An undisclosed sum of money was stolen from the Bryant grocery store in the 2300 block of Bryant Ave. between Monday and Tuesday.

* ROBBERY/SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of N. Calhoun St. is listed in good condition at the University of Maryland Medical Center after being shot in the leg Tuesday in the 2000 block of N. Monroe St. by two men who robbed him of $40. After being robbed and struck in the face with the gun, the victim was attempting to flee when the gunman shot him in the leg.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- Police were seeking a woman known as Pamela who entered a house in the 2100 block of Penrose Ave. Tuesday and stole a wallet containing $40.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the first block of S. Payson St. of $200 in the 400 block of N. Calhoun St. Tuesday.

* ROBBERY: Central District -- A resident of the first block of E. Eager St. was walking in the 900 block of Lovegrove St. Tuesday when a gunman robbed him of more than $300.

* SHOOTING: Central District -- Police were seeking a gunman who shot a resident of the 1800 block of Etting St. during an incident in the 1500 block of Argyle Ave. Tuesday. The victim was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center. His condition was not available.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- A Catonsville-area woman was walking in the Ingleside Shopping Center in the 5600 block Baltimore National Pike Tuesday when a man placed an unknown weapon in her back and robbed her of an undisclosed sum of money.

* ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- A deliveryman for a pizza shop was in the first block of Walden Cedar Court Tuesday night when three men stepped out from behind shrubbery near a building and robbed him of $23. The name of the pizza shop was not immediately available.

* BURGLARY: District -- Someone entered the Battery Warehouse in the first block of Cockeysville Road through a side door Tuesday and stole a safe valued at $620 and $120.

* BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Property valued at more than $40,000 was stolen from a house in the 5000 block of Hydes Road in Hydes Tuesday by someone who entered through a kitchen door after entering the adjoining garage. Taken was jewelry, silverware, firearms, a VCR, cash and household items.
