Westminster attorney accepts planning post

November 03, 1993

Westminster attorney Robert H. Lennon said yesterday he will serve a five-year term on the Carroll Planning Commission. County commissioners nominated him for the post.

Mr. Lennon, 45, replaces Barbara Jean Dixon of Mount Airy, who finished her second term Sunday.

Commissioner Donald I. Dell said he recommended Mr. Lennon for the position.

The attorney, who practices with Karen Miller at 6 E. Main St., said he handles mostly real estate and title cases. Mr. Dell said Mr. Lennon handled one case for him 15 years ago.

The five-member Planning Commission is responsible for comprehensive, countywide land-use planning. Members are paid $50 per meeting. The commission meets at least once a month.
