Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 100 block of N. Carey St. was walking near her home Monday when a gunman robbed her of a typewriter, coat and purse, all valued at more than $300.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man Monday who attempted to leave the Super Pride store in the 2000 block of W. Lafayette Ave. without paying for items valued at more than $21.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man who implied he had a gun robbed a resident of the 3400 block of Reisterstown Road of a pager . The robbery took place Monday in the 1400 block of Riggs Ave.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A woman entered a house in the 2000 block of N. Fulton Ave. Monday and robbed the occupant of $15 before locking him in a closet.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 2200 block of Maryland Ave. was about to enter his car near his home Monday when a gunman robbed him of his wallet and more than $100.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass with Maryland tags NSB771 was stolen from the 5300 block of Kenilworth Ave. between Sunday and Monday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a Union Memorial Hospital room Monday and stole a bank bag containing more than $900 that belonged to Granada TV Service Co.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a garage in the 300 block of Tunbridge Drive between Thursday and Monday and stole a 26-inch bike valued at $300.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1988 Oldsmobile with Maryland tags YBY443 was stolen from the 500 block of E. Belvedere Ave.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 1800 block of Ramsay St. was walking in the 100 block of S. Mount St. Monday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $12.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a home in the 3300 block of Round Road Sunday or Monday and stole property of unknown value.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- A radio and computer game, all valued at $200, were stolen from a house in the 2600 block of Kent St. Monday by someone who entered after breaking a rear kitchen window.

Baltimore County

STABBING: White Marsh District -- A woman was stabbed in the chest early Tuesday in a room at the Pilot Motel in the 8000 block of Pulaski Highway. The victim, whose name was not immediately available, was taken to the Francis Scott Key Medical Center. Being sought in connection with the stabbing is a black woman dressed in black and wearing a black wig. The assailant drove off in a dark-colored Mercury Cougar.

ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- Two men, one with a gun and both wearing dark plastic bags over their heads, robbed the Food Place in the 2300 block of N. Rolling Road Monday morning and escaped with an undisclosed sum.

BURGLARY: Towson District -- Someone entered an office in a building in the 7800 block of York Road that is owned by Towson State University between Friday and Monday and stole $4, $25 in U.S. postage stamps, coins and a mail bag.

STOLEN CAR: Towson District -- A 1993 Acura Legend (Maryland tags AJH575) was stolen from the 2100 block of Burdock Road Monday.
