Gunman robs gas station

A gunman broke through the glass door of a Gambrills gas station early Sunday morning and made off with $800, county police said yesterday.

Investigators said the gunman entered the Waugh Chapel Exxon on Route 3 at 2:25 a.m. and ordered the clerk to the floor.

After taking the money, he escaped in a small, black car driven by another man, police said.

Go to jail, help MDA

Spend time in jail to benefit The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

Jailbirds will be picked up by Maryland state troopers and transported to "serve time" on Nov. 16 at ERA/Blake Realty in Pasadena.

Bail proceeds will go to support MDA's patient services.
