Cullum to head United Way effort

Neil Cullum, a customer service supervisor with Baltimore Gas and Electric Co., has been named volunteer chairman of United Way of Central Maryland's 1993 campaign in Harford County.

The campaign will be held this year to raise funds to support health and human services in the county.

Mr. Cullum served as division chairman of last year's United Way campaign in the county, which raised $307,491.

This year the county goal is $352,280.

Mr. Cullum's objective for this year's campaign is to increase the level of participation among businesses in the county.

He will be aided in his efforts by members of his campaign cabinet, including Barbara Adams of Harford Community College; Bob Bloom, radio station WXCY-FM; Ernest A. Crofoot, Harford County government; Bill Humbert of Harford Mutual Insurance; Ray R. Keech, representing the Harford County public schools; Gary Reich, Sheraton Inn; Albert Seymour, representing the Harford County public schools; and Bruce Villard, loan executive, Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Co. (retired).

Mr. Cullum is actively involved in the community.

He sits on the boards of the Harford County Economic Development Advisory Board, Harford County Chamber of Commerce, Churchville Ruritan Club, Susquehanna Region Private Industry Council and the Harford Community College Foundation.
