DRUG ARRESTS: Western District -- More than two dozen men were arrested late Thursday and early Friday and charged with various drug offenses during "Operation Zebra." The arrests were made by uniform and plainclothes police responding to complaints from neighborhood individuals, groups and undercover surveillance. The arrests occurred in the 500 block of N. Payson St, the 2000 block of Walbrook Ave., the 2000 block of Edmondson Ave. and the 500 block of N. Mount St. All were being held at the police station pending a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

OFFICER ASSAULTED/ARRESTS: Western District -- Three boys, ages 15 and 17, were arrested Thursday afternoon after fights broke out among a crowd of students and other teens at Reisterstown Road and Elgin Avenue. During the incident, Officer Aaron Pitts was assaulted by at least one of the arrested youths. No serious injuiries were reported. Police said the windshield of a MTA bus was shattered when an unidentified youth threw something at the vehicle.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2400 block of Reisterstown Road was in the 2300 block of Orem Ave. Thursday when a gunman robbed him of $80.

ASSAULT: Southern District -- A resident of the 900 block of Stoll St. was treated at Harbor Hospital Center after a man bit off part of a right finger during an incident in the 4100 block of 10th St. Thursday. Police arrested a suspect and were holding him pending a charge of aggravated assault.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Four men, one with a handgun, robbed the Super Fresh store in the 600 block of Gorsuch Ave. Wednesday of an undisclosed sum.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 6200 block of Faulkner Road was about to enter his car in the 500 block of E. Northern Parkway Thursday when two men knocked him to the pavement and robbed him of his wallet and keys.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two residents of the first block of W. 22nd St. were about to enter the vestibule of their apartment building Thursday when a gunman approached them from the rear and demanded their money. The gunman escaped with cash and property, all valued at nearly $300.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 300 block of Birkwood Ave. through a window Thursday and stole a camera and other items, valued at $300.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A VCR valued at $300 was stolen from a house in the 2000 block of Druid Park Drive Thursday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A VCR, 35mm camera, compact disc player and cash, all valued at $1,200, were stolen from a house in the 600 block of Venable Ave. Thursday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 600 block of E. 33rd St. after breaking a pane of glass out of a kitchen door and stole coins, cigarettes and a cigarette lighter, all valued at nearly $100.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A compact disc player, computer game and four CD cassettes, all valued at more than $600, were stolen from a house in the 500 block of Willow Ave. Wednesday by someone who entered through an unlocked rear door.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Parkville District -- An undisclosed sum was stolen from Parkville Automotive in the 8500 block of Old Harford Road Wednesday or Thursday by someone who entered through a window after digging a hole under a fence that surrounds the business.

BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- Someone entered R.J.'s Sports man Lounge in the 6300 block of Kenwood Ave. Thursday through a window. It was not immediately know what, if any, property, was taken.

BURGLARY: Essex District -- Someone entered a house in the first block of W. Hickham Road Thursday and broke several windows and destroyed furniture. Nothing appeared missing.

BURGLARY: Essex District -- An undisclosed sum was stolen from Stelmar Garden Center in the 10800 block of Pulaski Highway in White Marsh by someone who entered through a window Wednesday or Thursday.

BURGLARY: Towson District -- Someone entered the Royal Farms store in the 600 block of Southwick Drive near Providence Road in Campus Hills early today by breaking a window and stole several cartons of cigarettes.
