Barb Muller and Kristen Smeby each scored a goal, leading host Arundel (10-1, 6-0) past No. 5 Chesapeake-AA (7-2-1, 3-2), 2-0, in an Anne Arundel County 4A girls soccer game yesterday.

* Centennial 2, Hammond 0: Kelly Garrity and Michelle Clare each scored a goal, lifting No. 10 Centennial (6-2-2, 3-2-1) past visiting and No. 2 Hammond (9-2, 5-1) in a Howard County game.

* Dundalk 4, Randallstown 0: Senior forward Jennifer Middleton scored the game-winner 15 minutes into the first half as Dundalk (4-7, 2-7) shut out Randallstown (0-9, 0-7) in a Baltimore County 3A-4A League game.

* John Carroll 3, Mercy 2: John Carroll scored three goals in the second half to rebound from a 2-0 halftime deficit and upset visiting No. 13 Mercy (10-4-1, 8-4). Katie Tiburzi, a freshman fullback, scored the game-winner in the last minute of the contest for John Carroll (8-3-2, 6-3-2) in a Catholic League A Division game.

* Hereford 5, Sparrows Point 0: Melina Sawyer scored two goals to lead Hereford (8-3, 8-1) past Sparrows Point (1-10, 1-9) in a Baltimore County 1A-2A League game. Stacey Zahner added two assists for the Bulls.

Boys soccer

* Perry Hall 2, Parkville 0: Greg Stark scored one goal and added one assist as No. 5 Perry Hall (11-0, 9-0) defeated host Parkville (6-4, 6-3) in a Baltimore County 3A-4A League game.

* Dulaney 3, Eastern Tech 0: Senior forward Eddie Liu delivered two goals as No. 12 Dulaney (8-2, 8-1) defeated visiting Eastern Tech (4-5, 4-5) in a Baltimore County 3A-4A League game.

* Overlea 6, Milford Mill 0: Jason Owens scored two goals to lead No. 9 Overlea (8-2-1, 7-2) past Milford Mill (0-10, 0-10) in a Baltimore County 1A-2A League game.

* Dundalk 5, Randallstown 0: Luke Bell scored two goals to lead Dundalk (9-1-1, 7-1-1) to a shutout of Randallstown (2-9, 1-8) in a Baltimore County 3A-4A League game.

Field hockey

* Garrison Forest 1, Woodbridge 0: Missy Hopkins scored the winning goal for Garrison Forest (3-1-2) in a shutout victory.

* Loch Raven 7, Owings Mills 0: Lauren Volk had three goals and an assist as No. 12 Loch Raven (8-1-1, 8-0) routed host Owings Mills (0-9, 0-8) in a Baltimore County 1A-2A League game.

* Perry Hall 1, Parkville 0: No. 9 Perry Hall (8-0, 8-0) remained undefeated with a shutout victory over Parkville (4-4-1, 4-4-1) in a Baltimore County 3A-4A League game.
