Author and illustrator David Wisniewski of Bowie will demonstrate his cut-paper illustrations and talk about his books at 7 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Crofton library. Children ages 5 to 12 also can choose their favorite book and decorate a library banner with scenes from the book. The activity is part of the library's Kids' Picks Banner and Book Display Nov. 8-20 in the children's area.
