BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Someone forced open the door of a house in the 1300 block of N. Eden St. at 2 p.m. Saturday and removed two sets of kitchen cabinets valued at $300.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- A man was arrested for breaking into a sandwich shop in the 700 block of N. Gay St. Saturday at 10 p.m.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Someone threw a garbage can through the window of a sporting goods store in the 500 block of N. Gay St. around 4 a.m. yesterday. Nothing was reported stolen.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Someone entered a furniture store in the 1100 block of N. Washington St. early Saturday by removing an exhaust fan from a window. Nothing was reported stolen.

LARCENY: Central District -- Someone broke into an automobile in the first block of E. Fayette St. at 11:30 p.m. Saturday and stole eight cassette tapes.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Central District -- A man was robbed in the 1300 block of Argyle Ave. by another man who struck him with his fist and stole a $200 coat. Police arrested a 16-year-old suspect shortly thereafter.

LARCENY: Western District -- Someone removed four hubcaps valued at $400 from a car in the 1900 block of Fulton St. late Saturday night.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Western District -- A man was robbed of $20 at gunpoint in a carryout in the 1600 block of W. North Ave. at 3 a.m. Saturday.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Western District -- A man in the 2500 block of W. Franklin St. was threatened late Saturday by a knife-wielding man who stole $10 and his 1987 Hyundai, which has Maryland license tags ACC 250.

STOLEN AUTO: Western District -- A 1984 Buick with Maryland license tags AES 016 was reported stolen late Friday from the 100 block of N. Schroeder St.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A Carroll County man reported that a man threatened him with a knife at 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the first block of S. Pulaski St. and stole his 1984 Chevrolet, which has Maryland license tags ZXB 346.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Police said a resident of the 800 block of W. Fayette St. was walking in the 3200 block of W. North Ave. when he was robbed of an unknown amount of jewelry by a man with a gun at 5 a.m. Saturday.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A house in the 100 block of S. Kossuth St. was broken into Saturday morning by someone who stole a videocassette recorder.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone broke into a house in the 400 block of Edsdale Road and took property valued at $400.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Northwest District -- Two young men with a handgun were arrested following a robbery attempt in the 4000 block of Park Heights Ave. at around 11 a.m. yesterday. The victim flagged down police, who caught his alleged assailants after a brief chase.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Northwest District -- A man with a handgun robbed a McDonald's restaurant of $151 at 3:15 p.m. yesterday.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Northwest District -- A woman was beaten by a female assailant with a bottle at 12:25 p.m. yesterday in the 3400 block of W. Belvedere Ave..
