Woman reports car is turned on its side

A Havre de Grace woman told police that someone had maliciously turned her 1991 Subaru Justy on its side Oct. 15.

The vehicle was parked in the 500 block of Green St., police said.

The damage to the driver's side door was estimated at $150.

Edgewood man arrested on marijuana charges

A 28-year-old Edgewood man was arrested on charges stemming from an Oct. 16 raid by the county's Joint Narcotics Task Force and police seized $1,000 worth of marijuana, scales and drug paraphernalia and a 12-gauge shotgun.

Jeffrey Thomas Ward of the 1400 block of Harford Square Drive was charged with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said that some of the marijuana had been cut and some was still being dried at the time of their 1:30 a.m. raid.

Mr. Ward was being held at the Detention Center in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

Reward offered for tips on tool theft

Harford County Crime Solvers is offering up to $1,000 in reward for the arrest and indictment of someone responsible for breaking into a shed in the 1000 block of Alexandra Way in Bel Air on Oct. 16 and stealing various tools.

Police said a rash of similar thefts have occurred in the area.

Stolen in this incident were a Hilti electric nail gun, a Makita miter saw, an Emglo air compressor, two Bostich nail guns and an XT-125 gas-operated weed eater.

The loss was valued at $2,624.
