Man killed, woman hurt in Fells Point stabbing incident

October 24, 1993

The owner of a Fells Point auto insurance agency was stabbed to death, and his female companion was seriously wounded Friday night in the agency's offices, city police said yesterday.

James Musser, 43, of the 9300 block of Meadowhill Road in Ellicott City, was found dead in a back room of Able Auto Insurance, in the 1700 block of Eastern Ave.

Rosane Trimple, 21, of the 100 block of S. Ann St., stumbled outside the business and collapsed on the sidewalk. She was listed in serious condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital last night.

Agent Doug Price, a police spokesman, said officers arrived at the scene about 9:15 p.m. Friday and found Ms. Trimple lying on the sidewalk, suffering from multiple stab wounds, most of them to her neck.

Mr. Musser's wounds were to his head and torso.

No weapon was found, and no arrests were made.
