Jason Tharpe rushed for three touchdowns and 254 yards to lead visiting and No. 10 C. Milton Wright (7-1, 5-1) over John Carroll (1-7, 0-6), 34-0, in a Harford County game yesterday.

Forest Park 12, Southern-B 8

Robert Arthur ran for 136 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries as No. 14 Forest Park (5-3) edged visiting Southern (3-5).

Dunbar 18, Northwestern 0

Senior Johnny Sawyer ran for 103 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries as the No. 15 Poets (6-2, 1-1) beat host Northwestern (1-6, 0-2) in a Baltimore City 2A game.

Hereford 20, Loch Raven 0

Hereford coach Frank Ewing picked up his 150th win as the Bulls (2-6) defeated Loch Raven (1-7) in a Baltimore County 1A-2A game.

Quarterback Davis Glenn and receiver Paul Torretta hooked up on touchdown passes of 20 and 15 yards to give the victory to Ewing, who has coached in the Baltimore area for 24 years and has spent the past four at Hereford after stints at Patapsco and Chesapeake-BC.

Southwestern 12, Northern 6

Jamal Avery returned kickoffs 80 yards and 76 yards for touchdowns in the second and third quarters to give host Southwestern (2-6) the victory over Northern (0-8).

Lake Clifton 12, Douglass 0

Kevin Estep threw two touchdown passes to lead the Lakers (6-2) over visiting Douglass (2-5).

Carver 20, Edmondson 0

Sophomore Troy Austin ran for 110 yards, including a 50-yard touchdown, on 12 carries as Carver (4-4) shut out host Edmondson (0-7).

Fallston 17, North Harford 0

Quarterback Brad Thomas scored on a 51-yard run as Fallston (6-1, 4-1) defeated visiting North Harford (1-7, 1-6) in a Harford County game.

Bel Air 34, Edgewood 0

Terry Vail rushed nine times for 122 yards and three touchdowns as Bel Air (5-3, 5-2) defeated visiting Edgewood in a Harford County game.

Kenwood 28, Patapsco 6

Antonio Maddox had 239 yards rushing and two touchdowns as Kenwood (5-3, 3-3) defeated visiting Patapsco (2-6, 0-6) in a Baltimore County 3A-4A game.
