Edmund Mundell, 87, a retired accountant for a New York City bank, died Tuesday of pneumonia and kidney failure at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis. He was born in Jersey City, N.J., and reared in Brooklyn, N.Y. He moved from Brooklyn to Shore Acres in Arnold eight years ago. He had been an accountant for the Fiduciary Trust Co. and earlier had worked as an inspector at the Grumman and Republic aviation plants on Long Island, N.Y., and as a salesman for the Consolidated Edison Co., a utility. Services were set for 1 p.m. today at the Barranco and Sons Funeral Home, Ritchie Highway and Robinson Road, Severna Park.

* Peter Nash, 56, labor attorney and former U.S. solicitor of labor, died Tuesday of a heart attack in his Gaithersburg home. He was solicitor in 1970 and served as general counsel of the National Labor Relations Board from 1971 to 1975. He practiced labor law in Rochester, N.Y., from 1963 to 1969 before joining the U.S. Department of Labor as associate solicitor for labor relations and civil rights. Mr. Nash authored more than 30 labor law publications.
