* 120-pounders -- Host Severna Park defeated Cape St. Claire, 8-0, on Saturday night at Kinder Park to remain unbeaten at 6-0.

Kyle Dulin returned an interception 40 yards for a touchdown with just one minute remaining in the game. Steve Przborski made the two-point conversion kick.

The Hornets' defensive unit was led by Ted Harries, David Tekippe, Nick Arminger, Troy Brennon, Nick Cipriano, Ryan McClay, Bruce Colbert, Randy Newman, Dave Janicki and O. J. Jackson.

Severna Park will play host to PAL this Saturday in a homecoming contest at Kinder Park Field.

The Fort Meade Cougars defeated the Severn Savages last weekend, 13-0, raising their record to 4-1 and sole possession of first place.

Scott Campbell ran for a 50-yard touchdown (his 10th of the season) and John Banks added the second score from 40 yards out in the third quarter.

The Cougars' offensive line was led by Hector Colon, Micheale Brooks, Jason Johnson, Brian Davis and Dwayne Enderle. Leading the way defensively for Fort Meade were Brian Graddy, Peter Gill, Charlie Woodall, Chris Litherland and Billy Johnson.

The Cougars will play host to the East Glen Burnie Warriors on Saturday.

* 105-pounders -- Severna Park's Mike Cosper scored two touchdowns and passed for one in a 22-14 victory over Cape St. Claire on Saturday.

From his quarterback position, Cosper ran for a 4-yard touchdown, and also hit Matt Lehmann for a 25-yard touchdown pass. On defense, he returned a fumble 60 yards for six points. Jerry Cornett kicked two two-point conversions for Severna Park (5-1).

The offensive line, consisting of Scott MacMullen, Jeremy Winkle, Ryan McGarry, Mark Terry, Chris Odom and Stark Mueller, provided excellent blocking for the Hornets' backs. Runners Pat McNeil, Jay Walker, Mehdi Nematollahi, Dennis Cantwell and Charlie Winkle combined to gain 180 yards on the ground.

Cornett led all receivers with three catches, and Odom, McNeil and Nematollahi each caught a pass. Cosper was 8-for-10 passing for 110 yards. Jeremy Tate, Davin Rausch and Brett Steele led the Hornets' swarming defense.

The special teams were led by Grayson Chalmers, Joe Weidman, Andrew Porter, Dan Furbish and Sean Martin.

The GORC Wildcats used balanced scoring to subdue the Maryland City Mustangs, 32-6, in a Chesapeake Division matchup on Saturday.

Norris Roy scored the first Wildcats touchdown on a 6-yard run. Terrance Dorsey's 20-yard touchdown along with Travis Blakes'

two-point kick gave the hosts a 14-0 lead. Blake then scored the third touchdown, catching a 20-yard pass from Kris Lundborg (3-for-4, 66 yards).

Justin Golliday helped to put the winners ahead 26-0 with a 3-yard plunge. Henry Hanburger scored the final GORC touchdown on a 2-yard run.

The Wildcats are 6-0, and the Mustangs fell to 3-3.

Charles Gaither's two touchdowns proved pivotal in the Andover Apaches' 18-12 overtime win over the Pasadena Bucs.

Charles Mitchell scored the other touchdown for the 2-3 Apaches, who were anchored by the offensive line of Steve Clark, Mike White, Ryan Lebon, Craig Rhodes and Brian Boushell. The Andover defense was led by Rick Dixon (two fumble recoveries), Joe Sqwick (one recovery), Bo Hahn and Butch Young.

* 90-pounders -- Eric Pinkney scored three touchdowns and had an interception in Andover's 38-0 win over the Pasadena Bucs.

Justin Malone, Cedric Murphy and Jimmy Richardson each scored a touchdown. Don Jacobs, Mike Phisterer and Gil Cavey provided the offensive-line surge. The Apaches' defense was paced by Kevin Mitchell and Justin Rose.

Floyd Henson scored three touchdowns and rushed for 126 yards on four carries in GORC's 31-0 shutout of Maryland City on Saturday.

Henson caught a 42-yard pass from Colin Morse (3-for-6 passing for 78 yards, one interception) to begin the game's scoring. Keontae Ballard (four carries, 40 yards) then sprinted 16 yards to put the Wildcats ahead 13-0. Morse passed to Billy Keim for the extra point.

Henson had scoring bursts of 41 and 13 yards in the second and third quarters, respectively. Jerome Coates (three carries, 10 yards) added the final points on a 3-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Fullback Mike Gregory helped to spark the GORC offense with 50 yards on six attempts to go with one reception for 33 yards. Nathan Cummings carried the ball three times for 15 yards and Dave Bowser added 11 yards on three attempts.

Outstanding offensive linemen included center Brian Foley, right guard Brent Sickel and left tackle Joe Welsh. On defense, Keim intercepted his third pass of the season, and defensive tackle Mike Hines and nose guard Bob Linkins provided support on the defensive line. The Wildcats' defense limited its opponents to just 11 yards of total offense.

* 75-pounders -- The Buccaneers saw their five-game winning streak end with Saturday's 19-6 loss to the Andover Apaches.

Andover scored first when Corey Murphy ran for a 55-yard touchdown run. Later in the quarter, Corey scored again on a 10-yard run.
