ATTEMPTED ASSAULT AND ROBBERY:Northwest District -- A gunman attempted to rob an employee of a store in the 6500 block of Reisterstown Road at about 10.30 a.m. Monday, but left empty handed when the employee said there was no money in the store.

BURGLARY:Northwest District -- Someone broke into the Gwynns Falls Elementary School in the 2700 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway sometime between Friday and Monday and vandalized a soda machine.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY:Southern District -- A bicycle valued at about $400 was stolen from a man about 10 p.m. Monday while he was riding in the 1200 block of Washington Boulevard.

SHOOTING:Southern District -- A man was shot in the foot about 11.25 p.m. Monday in the 2000 block W. Pratt Street during an altercation with five other men.

THEFT:Western District -- Someone went into a house in the 2200 block of W. Fayette Street Saturday morning and stole $488.

THEFT:Western District -- A construction site in the 2000 block of W. Fayette Street was broken into between Friday and Monday by someone who made off with a 40-foot wooden ladder valued at $500.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY:Northwest District -- An employee of a 7-11 store in the 5500 block of Park Heights Avenue was assaulted and robbed about 3 a.m. Monday.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY:Northern District -- The operator of a Yellow Checker cab told police he was robbed Friday in the 900 block of Druid Park Lake Drive by two men, one armed with a handgun, who took a radio and an undetermined amount of cash.

BURGLARY:Northern District -- Two radios and two color prints valued at $145 were stolen between Friday and Sunday from the North Baltimore Center in the 2200 block of N. Charles Street.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY:Woodlawn -- Someone broke into a landscaping business in the 3000 block of Ridge Road between Sunday and Monday and stole some tools valued at $1,560.

BURGLARY:Woodlawn -- Five houses in the Edmondson Heights community in Woodlawn were broken into between 12.30 a.m. and 6.45 a.m. Monday. Several purses, a satchel and an undetermined amount of cash was taken.

BURGLARY:Parkville -- A house in the 7800 block of Rollingview Avenue was broken into Monday evening by someone who stole an autographed picture of Red Skeleton valued at $2,500.
