BALTIMORE — City man slain in domestic dispute

BALTIMORE -- City police said a 44-year-old man was killed this morning during a domestic dispute in his Northeast Baltimore home.

Det. Gary T. Dunnigan said police officers, called to a house in the 2300 block of Halcyon Avenue for a report of a shooting, found the victim lying dead on the living room floor with two gunshot wounds of the chest.

The detective said police were questioning the victim's 35-year-old wife, but no charges have been lodged.

The name of the victim was being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin, he said.

Argument leads to man's death

BALTIMORE

BALTIMORE -- City police said a 25-year-old man was killed last night during a dispute in the 1200 block of N. Broadway.

Det. Earl R. Kratsch of the homicide unit said the shooting occurred at 9.39 p.m.

During the confrontation the victim was shot numerous times. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he died at 10.32 p.m., Detective Kratsch said.

The man's name was withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
