ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Muhlenberg built a 14-point halftime advantage and then withstood a comeback attempt by Johns Hopkins for a 20-16 victory in a Centennial Athletic Conference game yesterday.
Johns Hopkins quarterback John Guglielmo, who came off the bench to direct two scoring drives that tied the score at 14, drove the Blue Jays to the Muhlenberg 20 in the game's final moments, but was unable to score.
Muhlenberg quarterback Saun McCullough threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns, including a 26-yard pass to Craig Bokus with 13:49 remaining in regulation that gave it a 20-14 lead.
