* The row of buildings used by berry pickers in summer at Welham's Station on the Short Line railroad was destroyed by fire yesterday, entailing a heavy loss. -- The Sun, Nov. 14, 1893.

* A special train will leave Annapolis next Thursday on the Short Line railroad for Baltimore for the showing of Nell Burges' great play "County Fair" at Harris' Academy of Music. A round trip ticket is $1. -- The Sun, Nov. 14, 1893.

* The five Driggs breech-loading guns ordered for the Maryland oyster navy have arrived in Annapolis. Lt. W. H. Driggs, the inventor, will supervise putting them in place. -- The Sun, Nov. 20, 1893.

* Several cottages are being erected at Arundel-on-the-Bay for Washington people. It is said they will cost from $1,500 to $2,000 each. -- The Sun, Nov. 20, 1893.
