Parent group sells Pizza Hut cards

October 14, 1993

The South Carroll High School Parent Involvement Organization is selling Pizza Hut "Pizza Passport Cards" to raise money for its programs.

The "Passport Card" entitles a customer to 36 free pizzas when 36 larger pizzas are purchased. The card, which costs $10, is valid through June 30, 1994, and can be used at any Pizza Hut.

Faith Durgin, a spokeswoman for the parent organization, said that the cards can be ordered by sending a check for $10, made out to the SCHS Parent Involvement Organization, to South Carroll High School, 1300 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville 21784. The check should carry the notation that it is for the pizza passport.

The cards can be picked up at the school on Oct. 28 and Nov. 1.

Proceeds will be used to fund drug-prevention programs, parent education for teen problems, staff appreciation and an after-prom party.

There will also be a Parent Involvement Organization meeting at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday at the school.

Information: 489-4502.
