ROBBERY TRY: Northeastern District -- Several men, one with a handgun, stopped a resident of the 1700 block of Brookview Road in the 5600 block of Carter Ave. Wednesday and demanded her money. When the woman told the men she had no money, the men left.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1200 block of Kitmore Road was walking near her home on the way to work Wednesday morning when a man with a knife robbed her of $75.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Three men, one with a handgun, robbed Curran's deli in the 5500 block of Belair Road Wednesday of more than $100.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 5300 block of Bowleys Lane was in the 4800 block of Bowleys Lane Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of $45.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 2700 block of The Alameda was playing basketball on a court near his home Wednesday when several men robbed him of $75.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a car owned by a resident of the 1200 block of Fuselage Ave. in Baltimore County while it was parked in the 3600 block of St. Paul St. Wednesday and stole stereo equipment valued at $400.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1500 block of McKean Ave. was in the 1500 block of N. Gilmor St. Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of his jacket and a set of keys, all valued at $125.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 1600 block of Northwick Road of $100 in the 1600 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway Wednesday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A deliveryman for Frito-Lay was in the 1900 block of Walbrook Ave. Wednesday when a man with a brass knuckle knife robbed him of nearly $100.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 700 block of N. Fulton Ave. Wednesday and stole a purse containing $30, keys and a watch, all valued at nearly $150.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with an unknown weapon, robbed a resident of the 1800 block of Mosher St. of two gold necklaces worth more than $250 in the 1100 block of N. Monroe St. Wednesday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 1600 block of N. Calhoun St. of $45 in the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Ave. Wednesday.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at nearly $300 was stolen from a garage in the 3500 block of Forest Park Ave. between Tuesday and Wednesday by someone who entered through a door.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 4000 block of Hilton Road through a rear window Wednesday and stole property of unknown value.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman robbed Speedy Muffler King in the 4100 block of W. Northern Parkway of an undisclosed sum of money Wednesday.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- More than $100 was stolen from the A.C. paint company in the 5100 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Wednesday by someone who entered the building through a window.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 4000 block of Grantley Road through a door Wednesday and stole two VCRs, two telephones, a coat and a bike.

ABDUCTION/RAPE: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who abducted a resident of the 4200 block of Bonner Road from the 3600 block of Hicks Ave. Wednesday and took her to a nearby house. There, the man raped the woman before fleeing. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3200 block of Dorithan Road Wednesday through a dining room window and stole an electric keyboard, TV set, telephone and coins, all valued at more than $2,000.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1985 Buick with Maryland tags 381ATV was stolen Wednesday from the 2700 block of Keyworth Ave.

Baltimore County

STOLEN CAR: Parkville District -- A 1992 Honda Accord with Maryland tags 574AET was stolen from the 9200 block of Teakwood Road between Tuesday and Wednesday.

CAR THEFT TRY: Parkville District -- Someone broke the ignition of a 1988 Isuzu Impulse parked in the first block of Spindrift Court between Tuesday and Wednesday but failed to start the car.

STOLEN CAR: Parkville District -- A 1990 Accord was stolen from the used car lot at Jerry's Mitsubishi in the 1900 block of E. Joppa Road between Oct. 3 and 7. The car had no license plates.

BURGLARY: Towson District -- A bike valued at $150 was stolen from a garage in the 700 block of Chumleigh Road Wednesday by someone who entered through an unlocked door.

STOLEN CAR: Cockeysville District -- A beige 1994 Saab 9000, )) valued at more than $34,000, was stolen from Nationwide Saab in the first block of W. Timonium Road Wednesday.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- Someone entered the Turf Inn in the 2300 block of York Road Wednesday through a side basement window after removing an air-conditioner. It was not immediately known what, if any, property was stolen.

ROBBERY: Garrison District -- An employee of an office building in the 600 block of Reisterstown Road was leaving his office and carrying a fax machine Wednesday morning when he was stopped by a man who demanded his jewelry and money. The robber fled with jewelry and cash, all valued at $200.

BURGLARY: Garrison District -- Someone entered Mama Dimitri's restaurant in the 6000 block of Liberty Road Wednesday and stole frozen food, a drill and a ceiling fan, all valued at more than $300.
