Baltimore City

SHOOTING: Northern District -- A 13-year-old girl from the 2600 block of Boone St. was shot in the leg Wednesday afternoon during an argument with a 16-year-old boy near her home. The girl was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Police arrested the boy and were holding him at the Northeastern District pending charges as an adult.

SHOOTING: Northern District -- A resident of the 5000 block of Norwood Ave. was walking down an alley behind the 2600 block of Loyola Southway Tuesday when a gunman shot him in the chest. The victim was admitted to Sinai Hospital.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the Royal Farms store in the 200 block of W. Cold Spring Lane of nearly $200 Tuesday night.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a home in the 2400 block of Loyola Northway sometime Tuesday or Wednesday and stole clothing valued at nearly $1,200.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Two bed spreads and a coat, all valued at $240, were stolen from a house in the 1500 block of Edmondson Ave. Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man robbed a resident of the 1700 block of Lorman St. of her jacket Wednesday in the 1700 block of N. Fulton Ave.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at $1,900 was stolen from a house in the 2900 block of Ulman Ave. sometime Tuesday or Wednesday.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1984 Oldsmobile with Maryland tags ALA 224 was stolen from the 3800 block of Greenspring Avenue Tuesday or Wednesday.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY/ARRESTS: Wilkens District -- Police arrested two brothers in their home in the 4100 block of Rogers Ave. and charged them with the armed robbery of Herman's World of Sports in the 6500 block Baltimore National Pike Wednesday night. Police traced two suspects to their home after Martin Freeman, an off-duty Washington SWAT-team police officer, witnessed the robbery and jotted down the license number of the getaway car. Police obtained a search warrant for the house and said they expected to find a gun used in the robbery and money taken from the store. Charged were Martin A. Carter, 19, and Marcus P. Carter, 26.

ROBBERY: Wilkens District -- A man who implied he had a gun robbed the Family Hobbies Store in the 1300 block of Stevens Ave. in Arbutus of an undisclosed sum Wednesday afternoon. The man escaped in a car whose rear license plate was covered with tape.
