Council seeking funds to beautify community

The Greater Pasadena Council is collecting money to continue its Route 100 Beautification Project. The goal is $2,000 for trees, shrubs and flowers.

Council Vice President Frank Halgas is urging all community organizations, garden clubs, and businesses in the Pasadena area to donate. The council also welcomes private donations.

POLICE LOG

* Pasadena: Appliances and other property were taken from a home in the 7700 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard between 9 a.m. Saturday and 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

* Chelsea Beach: Money and other property was stolen from a home in the first block of Magothy Beach Road between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday. The property was valued at $1,235.
