A Pasadena man was robbed outside a Severna Park restaurant Friday night, county police said yesterday.

Mehrdad Sarlak, 28, was getting out of his car near the Magic Dish restaurant in the 700 block of Ritchie Highway at 9:35 p.m., when a man walked up to him, grabbed his arm and shoved him to the ground.

The man told Mr. Sarlak to take off his jewelry and empty his pants pockets.

Mr. Sarlak gave him the money and jewelry and the robber ran from the parking lot.

Police searched the area, but did not find the suspect.

He was decribed as a black man, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 160 pounds and in his early 20s. He had short hair and was wearing a light brown sweater.
