Motorist stabs man along Route 100

A 26-year-old Glen Burnie man was stabbed in the leg during a robbery attempt on Route 100 Tuesday night, county police reported.

Michael Alexander Bower of the 400 block of Woodlake Court was walking along the shoulder of the road at 9:10 p.m., when a car with Virginia license plates pulled up.

A man got out of the car and demanded money from Mr. Bower, who told the man he did not have any cash. The robber stabbed Mr. Bower, got back in the car and drove away.

* Heritage Hill :A bicycle valued at $900 was stolen from the back porch of a home in the 6400 block of Roots Drive between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Tuesday.
