POLICE

* Westminster: An employee of Wheeler Chrysler-Plymouth, in the 200 block of E. Main St., told police someone shattered the rear windows of two cars on display Friday. The damage was estimated at $412.

A Charles Street resident reported that the two rear tires of her car were punctured Saturday. The car was parked near her house and the damage was estimated at $250.

An Owings Mills motorist told city police someone attempted to get into his car while it was parked on West Main Street Thursday. Damage is estimated at $100.

FIRE

* Westminster: Engines from the Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester fire companies were dispatched to North Center Street in Westminster to put out a compactor fire at 6:28 p.m. Friday. Units were out for 20 minutes.
