BALTIMORE CITY

* SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- A 14-year-old boy was in the 500 block of Denison St. Sunday night when he heard several gunshots and felt a pain in his left leg. The victim, a resident of the 1000 block of W. Lanvale St., was taken to St. Agnes Hospital and treated for a gunshot wound. No arrest had been made.

* CARJACKING: Northeastern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, forced a driver for the Royal cab company out of his taxi in the 5600 block of Woodmont Ave. Sunday and stole the vehicle.

* ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A gunman robbed the Sunshine Laundromat in the 1700 block of E. Lombard St. of $40 over the weekend.

* STOLEN DOG: Southeastern District -- Someone entered the back yard of a house in the 400 block of N. Kenwood Ave. over the weekend and stole a pit bull terrier valued at $800.

* ROBBERY/ARREST: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 2400 block of Fait Ave. was in the 500 block of S. Bond St. Sunday when a gunman robbed him of his property. Later, police arrested a suspect.

* THEFT: Western District -- A storage box and other property, all valued at more than $200, were stolen Sunday from a vehicle in the 2100 block of Edmondson Ave. by someone who broke a rear window.

* POLICEMAN ASSAULTED/ARREST: Southern District -- Officer William Gerczak was following a stolen car in the 2900 block of Round Road Saturday when the driver of the car turned the vehicle and struck the officer's unmarked patrol car. The officer arrested the suspect.

* RAPE/ARREST: Southern District -- A woman was raped Saturday inside a house in the 1900 block of W. Pratt St. by a man armed with a knife. Later, police arrested a suspect. * BURGLARY:BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1300 block of W. Lombard St. through a second-floor window over the weekend and stole a VCR, coins and a watch, all valued at more than $300.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- Police were seeking two men in a car with Pennsylvania tags YJ03566 who stopped a resident of the 5600 block of Alhambra Ave. as he walked near his home Sunday and robbed him of $19 at gunpoint.

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1988 Hyundai with Maryland tags ALM050 was stolen over the weekend from the parking lot of the Rotunda, in the 700 block of W. 40th St.

* RAPE: Northern District -- A resident of the 4100 block of St. George's Ave. was walking in the 2500 block of Greenmount Ave. Sunday when a man asked her if she wanted to watch movies at his mother's house. As the two walked on together, the couple entered the 500 block of E. 26th St., where the man pushed the woman to the ground and raped her. The man escaped, and the woman was taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment.

* BURGLARY/ARREST: Northern District -- A man entered the bedroom of a resident of the 3500 block of Poole St. Sunday and demanded her money while threatening her with two knives. When the woman cried out, the man jumped out a rear window. Later, police arrested a suspect and were holding him at the station.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police were seeking a man who entered the home of a person who had recently died in the 3100 block of Ellerslie Ave. and stole a VCR, a video game and a stereo amplifier, all valued at more than $1,400.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* ROBBERY: Essex District -- Two men, one with a sawed-off shotgun and another with a handgun, robbed the Pic & Pay shoe store at the Martin Plaza Shopping Center in the 1300 block of Martin Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money Sunday afternoon.

* BURGLARY: Towson District -- Someone entered a garage in the 6300 block of Mossway over the weekend and stole two multispeed bicycles valued at more than $400.

* ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the Soda Pop Shop in the 1000 block of Ingleside Ave. Sunday afternoon and escaped with an undisclosed sum of money.

HARFORD COUNTY

* BURGLARY: Fallston -- Someone entered Josef's Country Inn in the 2400 block of Pleasantville Road through a side window over the weekend and stole more than $100 from a cash register.
