The school's Student Government Association president does more than student government activities in his spare time. He sings in the choir and show choir and has volunteered for the Columbia Festival of the Arts and the American Diabetes Association as well as at Toby's Dinner Theatre.

His resume includes stints on the JV soccer team and as SGA class representative in his freshman year and PTA representative his sophomore and junior years. He works at a Jewish summer camp for children ages 7 to 16.

"I really enjoy working with other students. Most of my friends are on the SGA. I meet a lot of kids."

Plans: He wants to become a doctor and is looking at various colleges, including the University of Virginia, the University of Maryland and the University of Michigan.

His comments: "I have an interest in government. This is a way to quench my interest."
