ELMONT, N.Y. -- Sea Hero, winner of the Kentucky Derby and the Travers Stakes, will not race again this year, said Mack Miller, who trains the 3-year-old colt from the Rokeby Stable.

"He has a little calcium deposit just above the right knee joint," Miller said yesterday. "We're just going to stop on him, blister him over the winter and have him here for the spring."

Sea Hero, won only two of his nine starts this year, but those victories were worth $2,484,190, including the $1 million dollar Chrysler Triple Crown bonus. He ran his final race of the year last Sunday, finishing third in the Molson Export Million in Toronto.
