Woman with gun robs students at 2 city schools BALTIMORE CITY

Baltimore police are searching for a woman who robbed several students at gunpoint yesterday in two separate incidents that occurred near city schools.

No injuries were reported and the robber escaped with jewelry valued at $893, police said.

The robberies occurred yesterday morning near Southwestern High School and Edmondson-Westside High School.

The first incident occurred at about 8.15 a.m. as two students were walking in front of Southwestern in the 200 block of Font Hill Ave., police said.

Police said a woman in her 20s jumped out of a car occupied by three men and stole jewelry valued at $264.

A short time later, three Edmondson students were held up in a similar robbery in the 800 block of Walnut Ave., police said.

Edmondson is located at 501 Athol Ave., a short drive from Southwestern.

In the second robbery, jewelry valued at $629 was stolen.
