OTTAWA -- The Washington Capitals' Kevin Hatcher scored the first of three first-period power-play goals but the Ottawa Senators rallied in the second and third to deadlock the score -- 3-3 -- in the first of the two-game Capitals Cup series last night.
Hatcher opened the scoring 4:46 into the first before Calle Johannsson added his goal at the 6:19 mark. Randy Burridge closed the Capitals' scoring at 13:25.
