Through next Sunday: Chesapeake Changes, a natural history exhibit that focuses on the geology, geography, wildlife and human settlement in the 64,000-square-mile watershed of the bay, at Explorers Hall of the National Geographic Society, 17 and M streets NW, Washington.

Saturday and next Sunday: 28th Annual Governor's Invitational Firelock Match at Fort Frederick State Park in Washington County. Team and individual competition with musket, pistol, drilling, artillery and tomahawk. Period cooking and dress. Admission is free. For more information, call (301) 842-2155.

Saturday: Hunting and fishing expo sponsored by Post No. 60 Sportsman's Club, American Legion Post 60, Main Street Laurel, 9 a.m. Guest speakers, turkey shoot, hunting fishing and camping equipment for sale. Admission $3, children under 10 free.

Next Sunday: National Hunting and Fishing Day, north tract of Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, sponsored by PWRC and Meade Natural Heritage Association, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Goose and zTC turkey calling, fishing clinics and speakers and exhibits on wildlife related issues.
