Detroit Tigers -- Recalled former Orioles P Dave Johnson from Triple-A Toledo.

Florida Marlins -- Reached agreements on two-year contract extensions through 1996 with Frank Wren, assistant GM; Gary Hughes, scouting director and special assistant to the GM; and John Boles, director of player development and special assistant to the GM.

San Francisco Giants -- Reinstated P Trevor Wilson from the DL.

Boston Celtics -- Signed G Chris Corchiani.

Cleveland Cavaliers -- Hired former NBA all-star Leonard "Truck" Robinson as an assistant coach.

Football

NFL -- QBs Wade Wilson of Atlanta and Boomer Esiason of the New York Jets were named offensive players of the week in the NFC and AFC, respectively.
